Recent impact

Led TRU's first PCI DSS certification program, completing it in roughly 2.5 months across mobile applications, cloud infrastructure, backend platforms, governance and security controls.
Built and strengthened cybersecurity capability covering governance, SIEM, SOC, WAF, vulnerability management, incident response and regulatory compliance.
As CTO of Shari, led enterprise technology transformation, infrastructure modernization, IT governance and AI-enabled operational initiatives.
Delivered approximately EGP 1.7 million in annual Microsoft licensing and IT cost savings through licensing rationalization and technology-cost optimization.
Re-architected and stabilized an e-commerce platform, raising supported scale from about 40,000 sessions to 3.1 million.

Trajectory

My career has consistently involved building and transforming technology capability. I helped establish enterprise infrastructure and an early security perimeter within Egyptian financial services at EFG-Hermes, led technology and information-security operations for TE Data, and later joined IBM after delivering specialist security engagements.

At IBM I worked across Egypt, the Middle East and Saudi Arabia in security consulting, technical sales and business development, including participation in IBM's Worldwide Security Tiger Team. I later built IoT, software-defined infrastructure and security capability for a major IBM business partner in Saudi Arabia, and co-founded a cybersecurity consultancy in Malaysia.
